About the Society

The Japanese Society of Pharmaceutical Health Care and Sciences (JSPHCS) was founded in 1990. It aims to strengthen the foundation of Pharmaceutical Sciences through the exchange of knowledge between society members and relative societies for the benefit of public health and professional education.

As of September 2015, the JSPHCS has over 10,000 members, including pharmacists, pharmaceutical researchers, and pharmaceutical company staff.

Society affiliation and support of Article Processing Charge (APC)

Journal of Pharmaceutical Health Care and Sciences is the official journal of the Japanese Society of Pharmaceutical Health Care and Sciences (JSPHCS).
If the first author of an article is a member of the JSPHCS, discounted APC is applied and 67% of it is covered by the society, so that the member author is charged only 33%.
Members are able to request APC coverage at acceptance of the paper.

As from 8 December 2022, due to system change, authors are no longer requested to submit institution code to request discount of Article Processing Charge (APC) for society members during the process of new manuscript submission. Instead, members are able to request APC coverage at editorial acceptance.

Journal of Pharmaceutical Health Care and Sciences (JPHCS) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that encompasses clinical pharmacy as well as clinical and experimental pharmacotherapy.
