The symbols on the horizontal axis (indicated with an asterisk) indicate the data of antineoplastic agents that were not detected in the receptor solution throughout the permeation experiments. Statistically significant negative correlation between CLP,app and nitrile glove thickness was observed (Rs = − 0.37, P = 0.047, Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient)
